Rich Gannon, Orlando | Daunte Culpepper, Albuquerque | Peyton Manning, Washington |
1. Orlando Jaguars:
This was a tough one because the East has 2 teams all with awesome QB
duos, however I have to give the slight edge to Gannon/Bledsoe here. Old
Father time shows no signs of letting up at the Raiders helm, and Bledsoe
should put up like numbers this year. |
2. Albuquerque Bandits:
D. Culpepper/J. Fiedler - This is the uber exact opposites type matchup,
but CPep will be the #1 AFL QB because of the RB situation in Minny, so
this is a given. I expect Fiedler to give decent fill in production for
the Banditos. |
3. Washington Rainiers:
P. Manning/J. Harrington/J. Kitna - OK so this looks real shaky, but
Manning is the man here, and should make this bunch a decent unit. |
4. Brunswick Lions: B. Favre/B. JohnsonP. /Ramsey – This is the wildcard unit, could go up or down, a lot depends on BJ’s “lamearm” and Ramsey’s “Visor in his butt gonna get yanked by air superior if he doesn’t play well”. |
5. Rocky Mountain Cougars: D. McNabb/K. Stewart/R. Grossman - Uhh maybe McNabb will carry this unit, but Kordell frickin Stewart and a 3rd stringer?!? All I gots to say is hopefully McNabb doesn’t get a booboo! |
6. Fremont Raiders: K. Warner/C. Pennington/M. Bulger - The raiders protected themselves nicely here, and picked up BP once Warner goes down in pre-season. Did I say that? Pennington has a new WR in Conway and an ever maturing S. Moss, so he is definitely on the rise. |
7. Blue Ridge Falcons: M. Hasselbeck/T. Brady – The 2 young guns, and after watching Seahawks training camp last week, I feel better about the O in the Pac Northwest. Brady is the Rodney Dangerfield of the NFL, led in TD passes, yet picked like the 3rd round. |
8. Danville Doppelgangers: A. Brooks/D. Carr – Carr still isn’t ready for the big time, but Brooks is ready to break out , and solidified this Unit. |
9. Tempe Hippos: J. Garcia/T. Green/T. Rattay- Due to Vicks tragic broken leg, the Hippos traded the franchise for a later model in Garcia. Trouble is under the hood the caddy is running a supped up Pinto engine. The recent Bulgin package In the lower back has sent serious worries through the SF coaching staff. Green may be week 1 starter until Garcia is proven ready. |
10. Dakota Lumberjacks: M. Vick/D. Brees/M. Brunnell/D. Johnson – The unexpected trade sent the leader in the clubhouse Garcia and his backup Rattay to the Hippos to bring in the huge potential in Vick. It will be anywhere from week 4 to week 9 before we will see if the trade will pay huge dividends for the 2 time repeating Central Div champs. Johnson will fill in for now. |
11. Minnesota MoJo: S. McNair/J. Plummer – I actually think Plummer will be the starter here, he is playing with confidence, and McNair’s off field problems, and teammates injuries have to be a concern. |
12. Cleveland Rocks: T. Maddox/K. Collins/T. Couch/K. Holcomb – Sorry Barry, Maddox is one slide away from sitting in a dark room, and Cocktail Kerry is always a risk. Even though Butch has named his starter, it could be QB du jour in Cleveland. UGLY. |
